Adventurer visits Year 4

Today Year 4 had an exciting visit from adventurer, Darren Edwards

Darren is a record-breaking disabled adventurer, inspirational speaker and author. He talked to the children about his experiences hiking through mountains such as Mont Blanc, and crossing Europe’s biggest ice cap in Iceland.The talk was a great way to get a new perspective on Year 4’s current topic ‘Misty Mountains and Windy Rivers’, and they asked lots of great questions.

Darren’s story highlighted the importance of friendship, and his adventures are incredibly inspiring to hear!
