Adventures In Arabia

Mr Rahati, a Geophysicist working in Saudi Arabia, visited our Year 5 and 6 pupils today to talk about life in Saudi Arabia.

As well as his adventures of camping and dune surfing, he spoke about the anthropological history of the region, showing the us a range of amazing tools and spearheads, dating back to over 10,000 years ago – some even 200,000 years old!

What a great talk to end this half of term!
