Eco Committee!

Some of our Year 4 and 5 pupils from the Eco Committee travelled to Solihull School to attend an talk by Dr. Jane Goodall DBE!

Jane spoke about her time studying chimpanzees in Tanzania and how important it is that we look after our planet. The pupils even got to ask her some questions.

It was a brilliant visit, and the students are now keen to continue to help make positive sustainable change at our school and in their own lives to help protect life on Earth. The trip was a great opportunity for the Eco Committee to hear inspiring words from someone who has devoted so much of their life to protecting our ecosystems.

The committee also organised JUST ONE Tree day to raise money for the JUST ONE Tree charity who plant trees across the world! One tree is planted for every £1 donated!
