Visit from the Dentist!

Last week, as part of their new science topic, Year 4 were visited by Claire, a qualified Dentist who owns a local practice to give a talk on how to keep their teeth healthy.

They also took part in a fun activity of each having a disclosing tablet to check the plaque on their teeth and also testing toothpaste to see how effective it is at removing the plaque. We looked at different types of teeth that had been extracted and learned so much about how to keep our teeth healthy. A huge thank you goes to Dr Claire for teaching the children all about teeth!
