Grandparents’ Tea Party!

Year 1 welcomed their parents, grandparents and even great-grandparents to our Grandparents’ Tea Party this week! 🍰

The visiting grandparents had brought in mementos from their childhoods, including family photos, teddy bears and puppets. Grandparents from as far afield as Hong Kong, Japan and Pakistan, even stayed up late into the night to be a part of the afternoon via video call! The children and their families worked together to create their family trees, before everyone tucked into delicious tea and cake and the children sang their Harvest song to loud applause!
