Individual Sports Achievements

There has been plenty of success across all sports at Wrekin this half term, but we would also like to highlight some of our pupils individual achievements outside of school.

Sydney continues her outstanding individual performances.  As Shropshire Champion, she has recently competed successfully in the Midlands Regional Indoor Athletics Championships and recently she was crowned Juijitsu Compnet European champion 2024.

Lizzie competed in the England Athletics Junior Indoor Championships at the EIS Sheffield which rounded off her indoor season. Lizzie competed in the 60m Sprint and the Long Jump, winning both events. She won the Long Jump with a distance close to her personal best and won the 60m sprint with a personal best of nearly two tenths. Lizzie is looking forward to starting the outdoor season at the end of March.
