No Pens Day!

It’s ‘No Pens Day’ today!

Founded by Speech and Language UK, the day encourages learning through talking and listening, and everyone is getting involved!

Reception have enjoyed activities linked to our story of the week, Cinderella. They have used split pins to make a clock striking midnight, made magic wands, retold the story to a friend and built castles for Cinderella and the Prince.

Year One have ‘squished and squashed’ their way into No Pens Day with a dough disco retelling of The Three Little Pigs. They then worked together to sequence the story and retell it with their friends.

Year 2 got busy helping the kitchen with their vegetable preparation for the day’s lunchtime soup! Carefully peeling, cutting and grating the vegetables, they all worked hard to make our lovely catering team’s job a little easier. They really enjoyed enjoyed eating the lunch they had helped to prepare!

Year 4 got involved by constructing 3D shapes in their Maths lessons!

And there as so much more!

Everone had a very enjoyable and busy No Pens Day!
