Science: Chick, Chick, Chicken!

The chicks have hatched!

Our Year 6 pupils were able to carefully hold the newly hatched chicks today, gently cupping them to keep the chicks safe. The chicks are from the ethical chick hatching programme, ‘Living Eggs’.

In science, Year 3 will be looking at what the chicks need in order to grow and develop, particularly their diet and the role that this plays in their growth.

Every year group is getting the opportunity to observe the chicks and see how they grow and develop!
