Senior History and Politics Evening

Some of our students gave us an interesting and thought provoking evening in the world of History and Politics.

Pupils Lara and Elliot, spoke to the evening’s audience about their informative and insightful posters that they had created as part of the recent Poster Conference.

Next was an in-depth talk from Jake entitled ‘Why Atheists are Christian’, which delved into existential questions about religions and the need to have belief in something. Jake’s presentation prompted a great range of questions from the floor, which he deftly answered.

Upper Sixth students Oliver and Sinead concluded the evening with a debate on the motion ‘This House Approves of Generational Wealth’. Both gave impressively compelling arguments, and with a little hit of humour they confidently made their arguments on this topic.
