Senior House Debating Final!

The Senior House Debating competition came to a head with the final taking place in Chapel between Clarkson and Bayley. The motion was ‘This house believes that a leopard cannot change it’s spots’ and there was some impressive debating on show. The adjudicators were the Headmaster Mr Spence and Mr Smith, and although it was a close contest they announced the winners as…BAYLEY !

In the latter half of the competition the motions debated were about topics such as Christmas arrving too early and the class system in the UK.

Congratulations Bayley once again, and to all our pupils who represented their house throughout the competition as it is not always easy to debate in front of your peers!
