Sport Round-up!

It has been a busy few weeks of sport with plenty of matches happening!

Last week, Old Hall travelled to Birchfield School to play football. The under 11 A team played their first 9 a side match and the team played brilliantly and came away with a great result. The Under 11 B team put in a superb performance including one of the team scoring a hat trick! Well done to all the boys who represented the school so well. 

On Thursday the Under 9’s welcomed Prestfelde for an afternoon of football. All the boys and Year 3+4 represented the school across four matches. There were plenty of goals scored which included one Old Hall player scoring six goals! Another set of positive results for the Under 9’s. These results meant that all the Under 9 teams remained undefeated for the football season! Very well done to everyone who played.

This week the Under 11 girls played hockey against Prestfelde and were involved in two thrilling matches. The Under 11 A narrowly lost and the Under 11 B drew their match. The girls are already looking forward to their fixture next week.

In Lower School, the children have continued to develop their skills in hockey and football across their two games sessions. The children are now playing small side matches and there are some great players with fantastic effort from all the children! Mr Sturrock and Mrs Borrett are excited to see their Old Hall sporting careers progress as they move up the years.
