Cricket
On Wednesday the 1st XI had their first win of the season against QMGS Walsall. Dan and Alex were the pick of the bowlers and Matthew showed his class with a good 28. We won the game by 8 runs.
On Saturday, the weather unfortunately beat us. And we look forward to a block fixture of 9 against Shrewsbury school on Wednesday.
Tennis
The U15 girls tennis team had a home fixture on Saturday. The games were very close, with first paring, Sophia and Libby winning all three. The overall score was 6-3 to Shrewsbury.
Telford Schools Swimming Gala
Wrekin finished 2nd overall with our Junior Boys (Year 7/8) winning their age group.
The Junior Boys broke the Telford School Frontcrawl relay record – Sam, Oliver, Finley, Charlie.
And In the intermediate Girls age group (Y9/10), Beth broke the 50m Frontcrawl record.

Fencing
We congratulate Lottie who competed at the national final of the British Youth Championships. Narrowly losing the deciding match to a GB ranked fencer. We wish the squad the best of luck for their forthcoming match with Ellesmere on 13th.’
