Sports Report

As ever our pupils have been busy in sport with fixtures, games and PE.

In PE, Upper School have continued their programme of badminton and have applied their learned skills into competitive games.

In Lower School PE, the pupils have joined in Tag Rugby and Netball, beginning small-sided games and developing their skills.

Meanwhile the Under 11 Netball team played away at The Royal Wolverhampton School and didn’t concede a match. The Under 9 and Under 8 Netball teams played Oswestry. The Under 9 team secured a resounding victory. The Under 8 side played their first ever competitive match of Netball. They did fantastically well.

The Under 9 football teams played away at Birchfield, coming away with three great results to continue their undefeated run in football.

Old Hall sent six teams to Packwood’s Under 9 Netball and Rugby Festivals. One Under 9 Rugby team played contact, whilst the other teams played Tag Rugby, and three teams played netball. All teams played fantastically and displayed some excellent netball and rugby skills.

Old Hall also travelled to Telford and Wrekin Hockey Club to take part in the Regional Qualifiers where both teams have qualified for the finals! The boys have recently had hockey introduced as part of their curriculum at Old Hall and played brilliantly without conceding a goal! The girls faced some fierce competition and finished in the top two, claiming their place in the finals which will be taking place in March.

A special mention goes to Zak, who swam in his first County Swimming Gala over the last two weekends and came 2nd and 3rd in all his races!

Well done to everyone who has represented Old Hall so brilliantly in the past two weeks!

Have a look at some of the sport in action below.
