Hot off the press, well done to our Under 11 netball team who have today been crowned Plate Winners at the IAPS Netball Tournament. What an amazing achievement – we are so proud of you!

Some of our Year 6 represented Old Hall in the IAPS Swimming qualifiers gala at Shrewsbury School. Both the Boys’ and Girls’ teams performed fantastically in individual and relay races with some quick times. The competition was of a very high standard, with schools attending from as far as London. Fingers crossed our swimmers have qualified for the finals which are held at the London Aquatics Centre!

In Netball, it was great to welcome Prestfelde and Ellesmere to Old Hall for U8 Netball. The teams had a great afternoon and learned a lot. Well done, Year 3. Thank you to the Friends of Old Hall who have kindly purchased our new branded netball post protectors.

All of the Year 5 and 6 Girls played Netball at Prestfelde. They had a competitive afternoon of fixtures, and it was brilliant to see everyone getting involved. Everyone was a credit to Old Hall showing determination, resilience, and teamwork.

Some of our netballers had a wonderful afternoon at the Wolverhampton Grammar Netball Festival. The group of Year 5 and 6 girls who went experienced playing a lot of netball against a variety of opposition, and thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon. It’s great to see their skills continue to develop and work together as a team.

Meanwhile, in Rugby Year 5 and 6 had matches against Terra Nova. The teams showed strength working as a team and scored some brilliant tries, well done. Old Hall also welcomed The Royal Wolverhampton School to play a Year 6 rugby match. The game was played in great spirit with some fantastic rugby on display. The Royal were fast and powerful, but Old Hall really stepped up their passing and support game and managed to get a winner in the last few seconds, despite being 7-4 down at one stage.
