Swimming
At the West Midland Championships, Wrekin had five students competing- Oliver, Beth, Sam Charlie and Sammy.
Oliver 1st in the 200Fly/800FC/400IM and 2nd in 200/400/1500FC
Beth 1st in 50FC, 2nd in 100/1500FC and 5th in 200FC
Sam 5th in 800FC, 11th 400IM, 12th 200Back and 13th in 400FC
Charlie 14th in 100/200BACKBr
Sammy 15th in 100FC and 18th in the 50FC

Cricket
A busy week of cricket saw plenty of matches.
On Wednesday the 1st xi and under 14 a girls had some excellent wins over Moreton hall. The Under 14 boys had a good win against QMGS Walsall.
On Saturday 9 teams were in action and there were some excellent results for the U15s, U14s and the U13 girls. Morgan had an excellent match scoring 80 runs.
Athletics
Both The Year 9 and Year 8 combined Boys & Girls teams were placed First at the Telford Schools Championships. A special mention to the Year 8 Girls team who won every track event. Then on Saturday, at the Shropshire Championships, a number of pupils took part, winning a clutch of gold, silver and bronze medals. Isaac was part of the Telford Athletics Club relay team who beat a 35 year old record held by Wrekin College! Star performer this weekend was Chloe, who won the 1500m on Saturday and the 3000m on Sunday.
