Cricket

On Tuesday, the U12’s beat Haberdasher Adams, the U13’s losing out on this occasion.

The U13 Boys and Girls played against two strong Shropshire sides, with plenty of positives coming from both matches, unfortunately we lost out on both occasions. The U12’s played in a tournament at QMGS Walsall with some very good performances from all involved. The Lancaster B teams also had fixtures against Packwood and some excellent results were achieved.

The U14’s won comfortably against Haberdashers Adams, but the U15’s lost out.

The U15’s were in action in the county cup semi final and final. In the semi final, Wrekin posted an outstanding 238 runs in 20 overs.

In the final, the boys were superb on the field but lost their way in the last two overs. Wrekin lost the game by 20 runs to a very good Shrewsbury School side.

On Saturday we had a mix of U14’s and 13’s who travelled to Old Swinford Hospital. Early wickets set Wrekin back, however, there were plenty of learning opportunities to take away.
