The Servant of Two Masters

Our brilliant Senior Play had a successful limited run that delighted and entertained audiences!

Originally written in 18th century Italy by Carlo Goldoni, this modern version by Lee Hall follows the tradition of commedia dell’arte. Full of extreme emotions, misunderstandings and elaborate beatings, it was hard not to chuckle at the misdemeanours of one Truffaldino Battochio.

As a result of their limited time to rehearse this was a collaborative process and the cast put their ideas for direction into the mix, and although some elements were vetoed (sorry Bruce), this was very much directed by them as well as Mrs Milton.
