Whole School Poetry Competition

Over the past few months, every child in our school had the opportunity to learn a new poem and perform with confidence, record it with the help of their parents, and share their videos with their friends in the classroom. This week, we saw the culmination of everyone’s hard work when our 24 finalists performed in front of the whole school, their parents and our esteemed judges; Mr Firth and Mr Thorpe. After some fantastic performances, we were graced by a range of Year 5 LAMDA students who gave stunning performances whilst our judges made their decisions.

I would like to congratulate our 6 winners and special congratulations to the winner of the best original competition in Upper School!

Thank you once again to our judges, who made some very difficult decisions but did so with grace and confidence.
