Year 1 visit Shrewsbury Museum

Yesterday, Year 1 had a fabulous day at Shrewsbury Museum.

They looked closely at portraits in the museum before creating their own self-portraits. The children got into character to recreate the portraits in the museum by exploring the museum’s dressing up box. Wonderful colour mixing everyone!

They continued their day by looking at patterns in nature, taking inspiration from the Wildlife Photographer of the year exhibition. They then created their own tiles which they then used to create fantastic monochrome prints.

What a busy day!
