Year 5 Greek Workshop

Year 5 thoroughly enjoyed their day dedicated to learning all about the life of Ancient Greeks.

They came in their best Grecian costumes; we had soldiers, Gods, Goddesses and even a Gorgon or two! With the help of our Greek Guide the children enacted Greek myths and legends, had a tricky quiz, and got to try on the armour Greeks would use to protective themselves in battle. During the afternoon things got competitive in an Old Hall mini Olympics! It was great way to start their new topic on Ancient Greece, and discover lots about the life of an Ancient Greek.
