Year 6 Assembly
6H delivered a marvellous assembly last Friday morning all about their history topic, Maafa!
Our pupils are learning all about the ancient African Kingdoms and the atrocities associated with the slave trade.
They are also reading a book called Freedom by Catherine Johnson. The story follows the journey of an enslaved boy who is sent to England with his master.
The pupils’ assembly was a poignant way to mark Black History Month.
